Established in 2017 by Mrs. Bridget Itsueli, Relate Africa is a nonprofit focused on the psychological empowerment of the working woman. Whether in market stalls or boardrooms, working women carry invisible emotional burdens while juggling survival, ambition, and caregiving. We exist to give them the tools, space, and support to be whole.

According to the World Health Organization, 1 in 4 Nigerians is likely to experience a mental health issue in their lifetime—our Counseling Academy is preparing professionals to meet this growing need.

We empower individuals and couples through counselling, financial literacy, and community support.

Executive Director/Founder

Mrs. Bridget Itsueli is the Founder and Chairperson of Relate Africa, a nonprofit focused on the psychological empowerment of the working woman.

She holds a degree from the University of Ibadan and a postgraduate qualification from Oxford University, UK. With over 4 decades of experience in marriage, family, and relationship counseling, she is a certified mediator, counselor, and Myers-Briggs personality consultant.

Mrs. Itsueli has trained over 500 individuals in counseling and is widely respected for her contributions to marriage education and family development. Her vision continues to guide Relate Africa’s mission to strengthen individuals, families, and communities.
