Since 2018, Relate Africa has created summer camp experiences that has helped young people build confidence, develop emotional intelligence, and discover their strengths. Our camp helps children build confidence, develop emotional skills, and discover new interests in a safe, supportive environment designed by mental health professionals.

The Relate Africa Dignity in Youth Summer Camp integrates positive mental health practices into every activity helping young people build the foundations for lifelong wellbeing.

What Makes Us Different

Professionally Guided
Led by trained counselors and mental health professionals who create safe, supportive environments where every child can flourish.

Strengths-Based Approach
We focus on building confidence, emotional skills, and resilience through activities that feel like play but create lasting positive change.

Inclusive & Safe
Every child deserves to feel valued and accepted. We celebrate diversity and create spaces where authenticity is encouraged.

Small Groups, Big Impact
Limited enrollment ensures personalized attention and meaningful relationships with peers and mentors.

The Relate Africa Dignity In Youth Summer Camp  empowers the youth to recognize that confidence coupled with the right leadership skills will amplify their voice. This is done through an array of workshops namely: ‘Branding’ ‘Coding’ ‘Mindfulness’ ‘Arts and Crafts’ and lots more. Additionally, In a world where the non-digitally inclined are at risk, we engaged in several discussions concerning the importance of safe and responsible use of Social Media.

In continuing this narrative of Self-Discovery and Championing One’s Brand, in previous sessions, we have had a series of talks on the career journeys of successful individuals in unconventional job sectors, namely: Tito Ovia; CEO of Helium Health, Ebube Emodi; CEO of EE Events Management, Ebuka Ufere; Brand Marketing Manager at Google and Debola Adebowale; Project Coordinator at Style House Files.

WHAT HAPPENS AT CAMP
